We are new in Amazon and we are trying to ship our first box of products from Australia to Amazon FBA in the US. We thought the process would have been easier, but it seems more complicated at each step we take…
We have not yet found a logistics company willing to deal neither with the requirements of Amazon nor to act as custom broker. We have asked Fedex, UPS, DHL, but none of them seems knowing how to ship a box to Amazon FBA.
Is anybody already using a logistic company in Australia able to ship a product to Amazon FBA and to act as custom broker?

You can start with Shapiro.
There are others.
You can also search for US customs brokers. Many have affiliated logistics companies and carriers. You should look primarily in port cities on the West Coast (California or Washington).

I am having the same experience shipping stuff from Australia to FBA USA. Did you manage to get it shipped in the end? Happy with the sales so far?
I am having some luck with DHL, but the customer support rep is yet to convince me 100% that the service she is offering is the correct service.

I’m currently discussing with www.forestshipping.com, but I have not yet been able to ship my items.

Thanks for the reply.
I am conversation with a couple of companies and I’ll post any good news here as soon as I can.
So you have been struggling with TNT, UPS, DHL and Fedex to take your goods? I’ve contacted them all and only been in a meaningful conversation with a couple of them so far. However, I am yet to be convinced that the people I am in contact with know what Amazon FBA requirements are. So the service they probably are going to offer is most likely different to what we seek.

thanks for your reply.
Yes, I have been struggling with TNT, UPS, DHL and Fedex to take our goods. Like you, I have the feeling that they don’t know which are the requirements of Amazon FBA.

Recently I had problem with Samuel Shapiro & Co., Baltimore, USA. The E-commerce rep. went in circles and finally got a quote far beyond DHL for a master carton of abt. 9 kgs. from China mfr. to U.S FBA.
She said they are competitie if it is 200kgs plus, which was not disclosed in the 3 days of communication with the e-comm. specialist of Shapiro!
I understood that if a a non-restricted product valued USD 2,500 or less need not have custom clearance or any import duty payment. Please check with the airfreight co. or a custom clearing & forwarding co.
Please try your luck with AIT worldwide Logistics. aitworldwide.com

Further to suggesting to contact AIT Worldwide Logistics, try this too.
This one seems to be better & good one.
