We are aware that this is a challenging and difficult situation for everyone. We take the health and safety of our staff, couriers and clients very seriously, and want to ensure that you are able to send in a safe and secure way during this time.
At present, we are continuing to offer the UK and International courier services to destinations supported by our carriers. During this time, our support staff are working remotely in line with the governments’ recommendations and will be providing email and live chat support.
Any service delays or restrictions are being updated on a daily basis onto the quote results system. Whilst we are making every effort to keep this updated and accurate, as the situation constantly changing there be occasions where shipments booked or in transit may be cancelled or delayed due to circumstances outside of our control. In these situations, we will offer any alternative services available or refund bookings.
We and the carriers are taking measures to keep any disruptions to a minimum. Such as raising the cut-off times for same-day collections as fewer drivers are working than normal, Drivers are now taking names of receivers rather than getting signature on delivery.
Our team is here to help and if you have, any specific questions please get in touch and we will do everything we can to help you with them.
We are reviewing the guidance from Public Health England and will be following all of their advice and guidance.
At present, the UK is operating as a business as normal with only minor operational changes. Currently, these are:-
Signature on Delivery:
These are no longer being taken, due to social distancing guidance. The name of the person accepting the shipment is being recorded by the driver.
Drop Off Shops:
Due to staff shortages and social distancing advice, some drop off locations are unable to accept drop off parcels. We recommend calling ahead in advance to confirm that your preferred drop off location is operational.
Drivers will knock and move away at least 2 meters whilst the sender leaves the parcel for the driver to collect once they move back. This is to ensure safe collections for both customers and drivers.
Due to the effects of control measures put in place to reduce the spread of the virus, some international destinations may experience delays or have suspensions in place on a temporary basis.
European and Pan Asian destinations are currently being affected the most. We are updating our services on a daily basis to reflect the current situation.
